Notes

The fishing here was really good. The bonivlle cutthroats are very eager to eat. However, the fish become extremely spooky in the middle of the day. They will come up and nibble the fly ever so slightly, and then when you set the hook, they can spit it out. At midday, try to fish in the shadows or use a dropper fly to get them down to a better depth.

Success

Deep pools and ruffles are where most of the fish are hiding. Being sneaky on this river is important, as it is extremely clear and the fish will see you from quite a distance.

Next time

Use more dropper flies in this river because most of it is fairly deep and would benefit from the deeper depths
