Notes

The water was extremely muddy, and you could not see more than a couple of inches down. The fish seem to key in on high-visibility nymphs. There are camping spots all along this section, but it seemed like this section downstream was the most effective when it came to fish.

Success

The best places to fish were in the middle of long runs and underneath undercut banks. Use nymphs, but unweighted ones, as the river gets shallow in some places.

Next Time

It may be worth stripping some streamers through deeper parts of the river. Otherwise, using small nymphs seems to do the trick here.
