Blue Spring Creek

Environment

Got to the creek at about 10:30. Small about of clouds in the sky . There were quite a lot of people in the parking lots above and below. Never did see anyone fishing though.

Technique

• When I first got there the fish were in the open and in the calm water. They were behind rocks and also in undercut banks.

• At about 12 the fish wanted nothing to do with the surface but were hammering nymphs in runs and riffles.

Access

Access is great both up and down stream, however when you get far enough in, there is a fence with cows on the other side.

Future Thoughts

I would like to go back and see if there is any access to the bunker creek up above.
