Flow rate was pinned at a steady 2,150 CFS through the gorge spillways. Water temperature clocked in at 48°F with high crystal clarity. Twilight operations began at 19:30.

Biological Activity

  • Hydrodynamics: Tailwater current generated deep hydraulic eddies underneath red canyon walls.
  • Target Behavior: High concentrations of rainbow and brown trout staging in oxygen-rich pocket water directly downstream of subterranean boulders.
